The Parasite
The Parasite is a parasitic magazine which changes form, medium and distributor every edition. In 2011 we made six editions and we are currently working on several new editions.
I am co-founder of the magazine along with Richtje Reinsma, Dorien de Wit and Marieke Coppens. The Parasite is a wandering organ that attaches itself to successful magazines and events. It benefits from the networks of these hosts and is distributed at their expenses.
We ‘parasited’ the Verenigde Sandbergen #65, the Guide Liberty City, Paradiso, Nuit Blanche and at the museum Jan Cunen, where we won a poetry contest.
