The Worthless Shop
The Worthless Shop is a trading shop and an interactive art experience. The Wothless Shop will trade in ‘worthless’ items that are found in the streets or surroundings of the shop.
If visitors want to buy something, they first obtain some Clutter Currency by selling worthless items to us, such as lint, pine cones, fallen leaves or candy wrappers. The shop encourages a lively trading-exchange with visitors buying and selling the stuff that surrounds them in their daily lives.
The shop encourages people to pay closer attention to minutiae around them and is part of the Freecycling movement, which advocates an environmentally-friendly approach to waste.
